Intro

Hello to everyone in PAF 546, to get started I'm going to tell you all a little bit about myself. My name is Ben, and I'm going to be graduating from the MPA program in summer 2010. I got my undergraduate degree in psychology from ASU in December of 2008 and I am working for the ASU Police Department. I am pursuing a career in the fire service currently, but with the economy not doing well I decided to stay in school and make myself more marketable. I am an EMT-Basic, and before I got a job at ASU I worked for PMT Ambulance. Working in EMS was what peaked my interest in the fire service; it's a great job, always exciting, and a lot of fun. My plan for the near future is to get my Paramedic certification after I graduate from the MPA program and to hopefully get a job as a firefighter soon after that.
